Toby Wells Blue Apple Ranch (BAR) is a 277 acre facility in the western foothills of Ramona, designed as a safe haven for at-risk horses. Unlike dogs and cats, at-risk horses frequently have few alternatives and are many times destined for neglect and even slaughter. All of our residents are guaranteed a safe home at BAR for the rest of their lives. Toby Wells Blue Apple Ranch has received the coveted Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS) “Standards of Excellence” award.
